Barn Quilt Trail Featured in Wall Street Journal
The May 23rd issue of The Wall Street Journal featured a story on quilts, including the Barn Quilt Trail of western North Carolina which begins in Yancey County and runs through Ashe, Avery, Madison and Watauga counties as well.

The Watauga County Arts Council has gotten involved in the trail, and provides some information to the developing local spur on their web site.
A new 16-page tour map of the trail in Yancey and Mitchell Counties is now available, outlining nine different tours for barn quilt enthusiasts. More info...
